Crooked public officials can be charged for public misconduct, says ex-HK graft buster Li


KUALA LUMPUR: Anti-graft bodies can bring crooked public officials to book even in cases when corruption is difficult to prove.

Former Deputy Commissioner of Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Daniel Li Ming-chak (pic) said they could be still charged in court for public misconduct, a broadly defined offence under the law in some countries.
