NGO lodges police report against Selangor govt


PETALING JAYA: A non-governmental organisation (NGO) has lodged a police report claiming that the Pakatan-led Selangor government has failed to reduce assessment tax on residential and commercial properties as stated in its manifesto for the 2008 general election.

Some 100 members from several groups, including Selangor Anti-Corruption Movement (GAPS); Puchong Chinese Social and Welfare Society, Puchong Tamil Youth, Perkasa and Belia 4B were present when the report was lodged at the Bukit Puchong police station.
