KUALA LUMPUR: The Special Committee on Corruption will recommend constitutional changes aimed at strengthening the independence and effectivenes of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Its chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad said the proposals included the establishment of an independent MACC Service Commission to oversee the appointment of MACC officers while ensuring the security of tenure for the commissioner heading the anti-corruption body.
