KUALA LUMPUR: The rise in the number of business premise and house fires in the capital over the past two years was due to due to electrical circuit overload, said the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department.
Its director, Khirudin Drahman said the fires could be avoided if business premise and house owners watched for signs of electrical system overload as electricity was supplied based of the need and capacity required by various types of buildings.
