PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal here reduced the jail term and whipping sentence on an oil palm fruit collector to 15 years imprisonment and 12 strokes of the rotan for committing incest on his underaged daughter twice, five years ago.
A three-member panel led by Datuk Hishamudin Mohd Yunus dismissed the appeal to set aside the 47-year-old's conviction but allowed his appeal to reduce the jail term.
