KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will increase its Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contribution for its workers aged between 56 and 60 years old.
Announcing the matter, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the utility company would also raise the retirement age of its staff from the current 55 years to 60 making it the first Government-Linked Company (GLC) to do so following the passing of the Minimum Retirement Age Act earlier this year.
