KUALA LUMPUR: The air quality in several areas in the north and west coast of Peninsular Malaysia improved Wednesday with lower Air Pollutant Index (API) readings.
The Department of Environment (DOE), however, said air quality was not yet stable due to prolonged hot weather in the region which also caused fires and increased hotspots in Sumatra, Indonesia.
