BENTONG: There is a possibility that more Wanita MCA members will contest in the coming general election.

MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the choice would be based on Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's preference of selecting “winnable” candidates.

Liow said the current political scenario was indicative of how successfully Wanita MCA members have played an active role in reaching out to society.

“We are confident Wanita MCA members can do a good job in telling the people about the Government's transformation programmes.”
