KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is opposing the stay application by Berjaya Books Sdn Bhd, which owns Borders Bookstores, on grounds that it interferes with the Syariah Court.
Berjaya Books is applying to stay any further action by Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) against it and its employees in the High Court here.
