LRT and monorail ticket dispensers accept new currency notes


KUALA LUMPUR: The new series of currency notes issued by Bank Negara on July 16 can be used at the Light Rail Transit (LRT) and monorail ticket dispensers to purchase tokens and top-up MyRapid cards.

Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana), group communications head, Masnizam Hisham, said the company's ticket dispensers accepted old and new RM50, RM20, RM5 and RM1 notes.
