Selangor Sultan calls on Muslims to forget political ideologies and unite

PETALING JAYA: Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor has urged Muslims in the state to forget their political ideologies and instead unite in the spirit of strong brotherhood, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.

He said Muslims should fully focus on their religious obligations and strengthen unity among themselves so that Islam is held in high regard and respected by people of other faiths.
