PETALING JAYA: An international experts meeting in Silicon Valley, Cali-fornia has recognised the Rimbunan Kasih smart village in Pekan, Pahang as a global template for managing rural poverty and environmental sustainability at the same time.

IRIS Corporation Bhd managing director Datuk Tan Say Jim had detailed the project yesterday at a special meeting for the Global Science and Innovation Advisory Council, where international and local experts guide sustainable Malaysian development.
