Survival skills put to good use

PETALING JAYA: Being a Boy Scout makes one tough and a champion and the days SMK Damansara Jaya student Christopher Kok Kye Shyang spent learning basic wilderness survival skills paid off at the RHB-The Star Mighty Minds Selangor state challenge.

“I used to build camps when I participated in Boy Scouts outdoor activities, so the experience was useful when we were asked to build catapults during the hands-on challenge,” said the third former who was joined by his teammates Daryl Tan Tze Wen and Ian Lung Shi Yuan.
