Six injured after bus overturns on Kota Kinabalu-Tambunan road

PENAMPANG: At least six people were injured, including two seriously, after the 40-seater bus they were on overturned at KM24.5 of the Kota Kinabalu-Tambunan trunk road near here on Sunday.

The passengers, believed to be Singaporeans, were on their way back from a church retreat in interior Tambunan when the mishap occurred as the bus was going downhill at about 4.30pm.

It is learned there were 34 passengers on the express bus, which left Tambunan at 3pm.
