GEORGE TOWN: The operator of the landfill in Jelutong, where smoke has been billowing from a peat fire since Monday, has been told to impose stricter monitoring to prevent such fires.
Penang Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Tamat said operators should have tightened security at the place.
