Suit against Wee settled out of court


KUALA LUMPUR: The suit filed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claiming that Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong had uttered defamatory words at a ceramah in the Machap by-election has been settled out of court.

High Court judge Justice Rosilah Yop recorded the settlement in chambers after meeting counsel J. Leela, who acted for Anwar, and Datuk Ben Chan, who represented Dr Wee.
