Sabah villagers grounded as cave-in blocks main access road

KOTA KINABALU: Villagers hit by a landslide at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu a week ago are still struggling to go in and out of their kampung as a massive cave-in has blocked the main access road.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has completed one alternative road to Kampung Kiau Taburi in Kota Belud, about 70km from here, and is now working on another shorter detour.
