KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s wildlife specialists have joined the global move to identify new emerging diseases transmitted between wildlife and humans.
The global early warning system named Predict, created with funding from the US Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Emerging Pandemic Threats Programme, is aimed at developing global capacity to monitor and prevent emerging infectious diseases and identifying human-animal pathogenic threats.
