Former Mimos senior official claims trial to graft charges


KUALA LUMPUR: A former Mimos financial general manager was charged in a Sessions court here Friday with four counts of bribery amounting to half a million ringgit.

Khairul Khalid, 52, claimed trial to charges that he had obtained bribes from Muhammad Khalid Ismail, 64, as an inducement to invest RM5.5mil from Mimos Bhd's investment fund in Eight Asset Management Sdn Bhd.
