PUTRAJAYA: The police suffered a loss of RM1.8mil in assets and properties during the Bersih 3.0 rally, said Home Ministry secretary-general Tan Sri Mahmood Adam.
“The losses could have been avoided and the money spent on other beneficial causes if the rally never took place,” he said in a statement yesterday.
