Prisons officers should wear ID tags at all times, says group

KUALA LUMPUR: Prison officers should not wear ski masks when inspecting detainees' cells, said Asian Inter-Governmental Commission on Human Rights commissioner Datuk Seri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.

“Surgical masks are all right but there should be a ban on balaclavas (ski masks) just like there is a limit on how much money prison officers can take into the facility,” he said.
