BUTTERWORTH: Penang MTUC has chided deputy secretary-general Samuel Devadasan for describing the new minimum wage as a “fantastic start” and “a gift” for all workers.
Its secretary K. Veeriah said Devadasan, who is with the national headquarters, had failed to consider basic economic issues affecting the lives of workers, especially the rising cost of living.
