KUALA LUMPUR: An earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred in the Sulu Islands at 8.31pm on Wednesday and the tremors were felt in Lahad Datu and Semporna in Sabah.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was 300km north east of Tarakan, Indonesia and 149km north east of Semporna, Sabah. - Bernama
