KUALA LUMPUR: The National Association of Employment Agencies (Pikap) is against any move to increase the fee structure for the placement of Indonesian maids.
This follows a proposal by the Malaysian Association of Foreign Maids Agencies (Papa) for a new “management system” for Indonesian maids, which comes with a demand for fees higher than set out under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Malaysia and the republic.
