CYBERJAYA: Fomca is calling for immediate measures to plug the leaks that caused the country to lose RM1.7bil in non-revenue water (NRW).
Some of the demands include a proposed standard measurement of NRW nationwide, the use of open tender in awarding NRW reduction projects to contractors, and registration of all water industry personnel, such as plumbers, with the National Water Services Commission (Span) to ensure quality service.
