PUTRAJAYA: A private school, its principal and a lawyer have won their appeal at the Court of Appeal against a Malay daily, publisher and its editor over an alleged defamatory article in 1987.
The Grammar School of Kuala Terengganu, principal Harry Isaacs and lawyer Datuk Victor Isaacs had sued Berita Harian Sdn Bhd, the New Straits Times Press Bhd and the editor for alleging in the article that the school and Victor’s legal firm were used as centres to secretly propagate Christianity to Muslims in Terengganu.
