Rural Basic Infrastructure NKRA benefited over 3.2 million lives, report shows


KUALA LUMPUR: The GTP's 2011 Annual Report which was recently launched by the Prime Minister has shown that initiatives under the Rural Basic Infrastructure (RBI) NKRA have directly impacted the lives of over 3.2 million people living in rural areas.

The RBI initiatives focused on ensuring the availability of basic amenities such new and upgraded rural roads, clean and treated water supply, uninterrupted electricity supply and the construction and restoration of houses for the rural people.
