Former rep Saidin freed from RM1mil graft charge


PUTRAJAYA: Former Selangor executive councillor Datuk Saidin Thamby has been freed from a charge of accepting a RM1mil cheque as gratification.

A three-man Court of Appeal panel, led by Justice Datuk Abdul Malik Ishak, freed Saidin after dismissing the prosecution's final appeal against Saidin's acquittal for graft.
