Saidin freed from charge of accepting RM1mil bribe


PUTRAJAYA: Former Selangor executive councillor Datuk Saidin Thamby was freed Friday from a charge of accepting a RM1mil cheque as gratification.

A three-man panel of the Court of Appeal led by Justice Datuk Abdul Malik Ishak freed Saidin after dismissing the prosecution's final appeal against Saidin's acquittal for graft.
