Basement terror: Couple recounts horror

HOOKED up to a ventilator and unable to speak, Malaysian Ooi Fook Chuan wrote about his terror when two car bombs ripped through a basement as he and his wife were getting off their car. The blast flung them away, but they were lucky they landed near an air vent and could breathe despite the choking smoke. Meanwhile, Malaysians are fleeing Thailand while those here are calling off planned holidays in the north.
