Organs sold for trivial reasons


THE lucrative black market for human organs has prompted some people in China to sell their organs for trivial reasons, reported the Chinese dailies.

Nanyang Siang Pau reported that while one man decided to trade his kidney for 3,000 yuan (RM1,457) for his girlfriend's abortion, another sold his off for 20,000 yuan (RM9,770) to pay off his credit card debt.
