SHAH ALAM: The Selangor government has decided to continue with the programme of legalising illegal factories in the state up to Dec 31 this year, the State Assembly was told Tuesday.
New Village Development and Illegal Factory Resolution Committee chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah said this would allow all companies and factories operating illegally in the state to submit applications for conversion of agricultural land to industrial land so as to operate legally.
