PUTRAJAYA: The Appeals Court here Wednesday upheld a court's decision to allow Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to amend his statement of claim in his defamation suit against Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar.
In a unanimous decision, a three-member panel presided by Justices Datin Paduka Zaleha Zahari, Datuk Clement Allan Skinner and Datuk Aziah Ali dismissed Khairy's appeal to set aside the senior assistant registrar's (SAR) decision to allow Anwar to amend his statement of claim.
