KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan Idris Shah Forestry Education Centre (Sisfec), Universiti Putra Malaysia at the Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve in Puchong will be officially opened on March 21 by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
The centre, which serves as a field laboratory for UPM students, also functions as a green area, genetic resources conservation centre as well as an education and research centre for the university’s Faculty of Forestry.
