S’gor govt urged not to sell part of Shah Alam Botanical Garden

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor state government has been urged not to sell part of the Shah Alam National Botanical Garden but, instead, lease the entire park to the Federal Government.

Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister Datuk Seri Noh Omar said the state government had proposed to take over the management of the park, which had been handled by the ministry since it was developed in 1986.
