Windfall for teachers after PM’s new wage scale announcement

KULAIJAYA: About 480,000 teachers are expected to receive a windfall from the recent announcement made by the Prime Minister about the new wage scale.

Education minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that one third of the country's civil servant were made up of teachers and the announcement from the prime minister has been well received by the NUTP.
