KUALA LUMPUR: Card issuers may be forced to assess income information from Bank Negara's Central Credit Reference Information System if the required information from credit cardholders is not forthcoming or questionable, said the Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM).
“So far, the response for the submission of income documents varies from bank to bank and we hope that credit cardholders will come forward with their income information and disclose it truthfully,” ABM executive director Chuah Mei Lin said.
