IPOH: More than 100 people from 50 families in Manjoi and Buntong here were evacuated to higher ground Monday when flash floods hit Ipoh city, following continuous rainfall from midnight.
The residents, from Kampung Dato Ahmad Said, Kampung Tengku Hussein and Kampung Manjoi, were evacuated to the relief centres at Sekolah Agama Rakyat Tengku Hussein and Kampung Manjoi community hall.
