KUALA TERENGGANU: A carpenter was fined RM2,000, in default two months' jail, by the Magistrate's Court here on Monday for biting a policeman's ear in an attempt to escape detention.
Magistrate Rozianti Mohamed Hanaphi handed down the sentence after Mohd Shukri Muda, 34, pleaded guilty to the offence.
