KUALA LUMPUR: Lawyer Datuk Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar is suing Syariah lawyer Kamar Ainiah Kamaruzaman and her law firm for RM10mil over her alleged defamatory statements against him as a lawyer for three government officers in Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s qazaf (making false allegation) case.
Zainul, 43, is claiming for a final order asking the defendants to retract any consent given to any third party to republish the defamatory words or any similar statement.
