YAN: Lembaga Tabung Haji is beefing up the security of its database by upgrading its computerised system to overcome weaknesses in haj management to stem problems linked to “express haj”.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom said “express haj” cases where pilgrims on the waiting list were offered the chance to jump queue, were detected by Tabung Haji as early as 2010.
