PETALING JAYA: Water is still cheap, so there is no reason for restaurants to charge their customers for plain water, according to Syabas.
“Water prices have not been reviewed since 2006 and the price is still RM2 per cubic metre (1,000 litres) for commercial use,” said Abdul Halem Mat Som, the Selangor water company’s corporate communications and public affairs executive director.
