PETALING JAYA: The decision by the Selangor Mentri Besar to personally handle the challenging portfolio of Islamic affairs is a correct move, said a Selangor PAS leader.
Its deputy commissioner Khalid Samad dispelled allegations that the party had been sidelined when Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, from PKR, announced that he would take over Datuk Dr Hasan Ali’s Islamic affairs portfolio although Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi was appointed to replace him.
