BESIDES having to drink their own blood and taking a pledge to “share” each other's wives, members of a certain underground group are liable to be beheaded if they defy the leadership, Harian Metro reported.
The beheading was part of a three-phase punishment imposed on the recalcitrant, with the “lighter” penalties being a slash on the legs and chopping off either the fingers or the hand, the paper said, quoting a member who fled the secret society after three agonising years.
