Daughter: Dad couldn’t have abused my sister

GEORGE TOWN: The eldest daughter of the man who allegedly left his six-year-old daughter alone and hungry at home, has come to the defence of her father.

The 18-year-old waitress, known only as Yap, said her father could not have abused her youngest sister as alleged, but admitted that he would sometimes beat her as she was playful and hyperactive.
