KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop has successfully set aside a subpoena requiring him to testify in a RM50mil defamation suit filed by former New Straits Times Press Bhd (NSTP) deputy chairman Datuk Seri Kalimullah Masheerul Hassan against lawyer Matthias Chang Wen Chieh.
High Court judge Justice Asmabi Mohamad allowed the application by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, who is the former second finance minister, to set aside the subpoena.
