PETALING JAYA: A Universiti Sains Malaysia student leader has asked if there is a need to repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (UUCA).
“Who can guarantee that universities will not be used as battlefields by political parties when Section (15)(1) and Section (15)(4) of the UUCA are abolished?” asked Muhammad Idzuan Jamalludin, who is USM student representative council chairman.
