KUCHING: The state is lobbying the Federal Government to build at least three more “flats for rent” projects, with the largest to be located at Matang, near here.
Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said the Matang project should have at least 500 units, but his Ministry was seeking for the project to be expanded to a total of 1,500 units, each with three bedrooms.
