CHINESE independent schools cannot be forced to adopt the national examination syllabus, said Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.
He told Datuk Raime Unggi (BN-Tenom) that these schools could not be forced to change their examination syllabus owing to the nature of their establishment, historical background and status as independent educational institutions.
