Police bust international drug syndicate, seize RM20mil worth of drugs

ALOR SETAR: Police busted an international drug syndicate and seized RM20mil worth of drugs in raids here and in Penang.

They arrested 11 men aged between 20 and 60. Six of them are foreigners, two of whom are Britons, two Singaporeans, a Dutch and a Frenchman.

Police said Sunday that they seized 240kg of liquid substance, believed to be Ecstasy, from a factory here and 34kg of substance, believed to be Syabu, from a house in Penang.

The seizures were made simultaneously on Friday.
